Affiliate & Referral Disclosure

Last updated: March 2026

HealthCovered.org is committed to full transparency about how we earn revenue and how it does — and does not — affect our content.

How We Earn Revenue

HealthCovered.org participates in referral programs with licensed health insurance marketplaces. When you click a link to a comparison service (such as eHealth or GoHealth) and connect with a licensed insurance agent, we may receive a referral fee from that marketplace.

This fee is paid by the insurance marketplace — not by you. You pay nothing additional as a result of clicking our links. The price of any health insurance plan you enroll in is the same whether you find it through HealthCovered.org or any other channel.

FTC Compliance

In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255 guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, we disclose that HealthCovered.org may receive compensation from partner marketplaces when visitors connect with licensed insurance agents through our referral links.

What This Means for Our Content

Our editorial content is written to inform, not to sell. We maintain the following standards regardless of referral relationships:

We only partner with services that are licensed to operate in the states where they serve consumers and that we believe provide genuine value.
